Server Operations/LAN Technical Services – Network Engineer

·         Provide 3rd level enterprise technical support for over 500 Microsoft and Linux application and File and Print servers, including 7 virtual clusters with 16 hosts and 120 guests, along with related physical and virtual lab.

·         Provide File replication services for 94 Office Automation File and Print servers

·         Perform technical analysis of emerging technologies and offer recommendations for new technologies to be incorporated into enterprise technical strategies.

·         Develop strategic direction and support for enterprise in the following disciplines: Novell Network Operating System, laptop hardware standards, file server hardware, Microsoft’s Active Directory and related technologies, Microsoft Windows Server, network based fax technologies, and other third party products.
